A unique peaceful family outing on the Rocky Hill-Glastonbury Connecticut River Ferry awaits…this is the 360th season of the country’s oldest ferry service. “Put this winter behind us and look forward to spring and summer,” says Blaise Clemente, the ferry’s captain.

Zip Line Easter Egg Drop at EMPOWER Leadership Sports and Adventure Center in Middletown all weekend (Friday-Sunday).

Family Program “Decorative Arts Day” at the Connecticut Historical Society in Hartford invites children to make a craft inspired by traditional decorative arts from Connecticut like stenciling or embroidery design. *FREE*

Happy 112th Birthday New Britain Museum of American Art! Come and celebrate with festive self-guided activities, including a giant “birthday cake” collage in the art studio. *FREE*

Wally The Green Monster visits Mystic Aquarium to greet fans of all ages and take lots of selfies so don’t forget your camera! There’s no additional fee to say hello to Wally unless you want to have your favorite item signed -$5 ticket. All proceeds benefit the Mystic Aquarium’s non-profit mission.

Papier-Mâché Easter Eggs Workshop at Karen Rossi’s studio in Torrington you will create Easter memories that will last a lifetime! Paint and decorate your egg with lots of color and glitter!

Playtime at The Palace Entertainment for Kids in Stamford is a fun and engaging outing for your kids featuring puppets, bubbles, story pirates, silent movie slapstick and more! Sundays at 3 p.m. until April 12.
