Halloween has come and gone…..or maybe not! Check out these Halloween events (and some more) happening in a town near you or maybe in your town, this weekend!

Glastonbury Trunk or Treat 2019 (Academy Field, Glastonbury, CT):

Saturday, Nov 2

3 PM-5 PM

SPARC presents a Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Glastonbury’s Academy Field Parking Lot (2143 Main Street) from 3-5 PM.

Trunk or Treat is a safe and fun way for kids to enjoy the season with friends and neighbors in our community. Vehicles will be decorated in creative ways by their owners, and children will trick or treat from trunk to trunk filling their bags with candy! It’s all free and it’s all happening in the Academy Field parking lot behind the town hall – 2143 Main Street, Glastonbury, CT.

SPARC is a group of young professionals in the capital city suburbs interested in personal growth, enhancing peer relations, giving back & defying the notion that there is nothing to do in CT. (

Paw Patrol Live (Oakdale Theatre, Wallingford, CT):

Paw Patrol Live! Race to the Rescue at Oakdale Theatre Connecticut offers 4 performances to choose from over two days, Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3. It’s the day of the Great Adventure Bay Race between Adventure Bay’s Mayor Goodway and Foggy Bottom’s Mayor Humdinger, but Mayor Goodway is nowhere to be found. PAW Patrol Race to the Rescue! Ryder summons Marshall, Chase, Skye, Rubble, Rocky, Zuma and Everest to rescue Mayor Goodway and to run the race in her place.

Auxiliary Trick or Trunk (American Legion Plymouth Post 20, Terryville, CT):

6 PM-8 PM

The Auxiliary will be hosting the annual Trick or Trunk in the parking lot of the American Legion.
Bring the kiddos down in their Halloween costumes to enjoy a fun and safe night of trick or treating.

Anyone is more than welcome to decorate their trunk/truck bed and participate.
If your child has allergies or food sensitivities, please let them know so they can ensure that they have treats on hand for them.

Cheshire Lions Club Trick or Treat (Cheshire Lions club, Cheshire):

Cheshire Lions Club 4th Annual Trunk or Treat

All are welcome to come and join in the festivities!

If you would like to decorate a trunk and pass out candy, please arrive between 2:00-2:30.

This is a free event!

Farmington Fire Department Fall Family Breakfast (Main Street, Farmington, CT):

Held twice a year, the FFD Family Breakfast is a great way to bring the community and fire department together. This event boasts great food, good friends, and the perfect opportunity for the kids (and adults as well) to see the trucks and to meet our firefighters.

For breakfast we will be serving:
French toast, eggs (cooked to order), home fried potatoes, bacon, and sausage.

Drinks include: coffee, tea, milk, and orange juice.

Nutcracker Sweets (Lux Bond & Green, West Hartford, CT):

Put on your best Tutu for this free family event in West Hartford Center . Mini Nutcracker Suite Performances by the Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory. Meet the dancers and have your photo taken. Enter to win tickets to the Nutcracker Suite performance and a Nutcracker! Magical reindeer food, snowflake rings, stickers will be available for the children to take home. Sweet treats prepared by local culinary star Lindsay Perkins.


Dog Halloween Costume Contest (Hartford Baking Co., Hartford, CT):

Join our amazing hosts Taylor Kinzler – CT LIVE and Jimmy Marlow and our furry sponsors, UBERDOG – your premiere destination for doggos in West Hartford and Daley Pawz dog walking service, and come strut your stuff. Prizes for first, second, and third place and fresh HBC dog biscuits, plus lattes, sandwiches, and all your favorite HBC treats. Registration is VERY limited so don’t delay if you want to participate (spectators – no need to register or RSVP)

Fall festival and corn maze (Fair weather growers, Cromwell, CT):

Celebrate fall at the farm with kid friendly activities including Hayride, Scarecrow Walk, Corn Pit, Pedal Go-Karts, Child Hay Maze, Tire Playground, Farm Animals, and Jump Pillow! There will be a giant caterpillar slide, corn maze, and pumpkin patch and tractor barrel train!
