Saturday, 11/3: “Astronomy Night”atThe Shore Line Trolley Museum

Teaming up with the  Astronomical Society of New Haven on At 5:30 p.m. the first trolley will be transporting the general public to  telescopes situated along the railway in the Farm River Marsh. At 6 p.m. the Astronomical Society will lecture on the basics of astronomy, review different kinds of meteorite samples and familiarize guests with the various telescopes – including one you can make on your own! The larger telescopes will be sighted on Neptune and the moon. At around 8 p.m. trolleys will start returning guests to the museum.

Saturday, 11/3 @ 7 and 9 p.m.: New Haven Ghost WalkVisit haunted places with guides, listen to ghostly encounters and hear tales blended with bits of human interest and historical fact. All ages. Meet at Starbucks, 1070 Chapel Street @ 7 p.m. $25. 888-377-4455.
