We’ve been going to a lot of playgrounds, and one thing I’ve noticed is that they can be a little tricky to find!

My typical process for finding a new playground is:

  1. Decide we should go to the playground.
  2. Google Playground
  3. Probably get lost on the way to the playground

Then I had the idea for a PLAYGROUND TRAIL with a MAP! I started it back in January. Then I forgot about it during the Summer at the Museum Fun.

So, anyway, here it is. It needs more stops, so please let me know your favorites.😃

At some point, I’ll add addresses and links, as well as a cute table- it’s a work in progress. There are 100 so far. We have a lot of playgrounds in this state and it is EXCELLENT!

Great resource, I found 2 more near me that I didn’t know about.

    A couple of suggestions:
Add West Mountain Park, Simsbury. 217 West Mountain Road
The one labeled “Boundless Playground” in Bloomfield is called Bloomfield Municipal
Make the list text instead of an image so it’s searchable. It’s tough to scan over 100 places

    • Thanks!!!! Definitely working on it- My plan (eventually) is to export the map as a text based layer and organize it by county with categories too.
I’ll totally update the map as well. Let me know if you think of any others.
