Guilford Fair, CT’s second oldest fair begins through Sunday, 9/22
The Big E continues through September 29. What is your favorite area – the houses at the Avenue of States, the Mardi Gras parade, the entertainment, the farm animals at Farm-A-Rama, or the rides? Will you find the butter sculpture?
EnvisionFest at the Connecticut Science Center This is a great day to visit since you can enjoy the opening of the newest exhibit Bodies Revealed AND newest 3D movie Flight of the Butterflies – “It’s a natural history epic. It’s a compelling detective story. It’s a scientific adventure at its best.”

International Day of Peace can be celebrated with Music Together in Elizabeth Park, Hartford at Peace, Love & Music Together, a free family event. And don’t forget to put out your peace symbols – Pinwheels for Peace – on the front lawn!
Meet Eric Carle and his new book “Friends” at the Eric Carle Museum in Northhampton, MA – it’s perfect weather for a drive to this beautiful area in the fall. You can buy the book in the bookstore and have him personally sign it!
