Free Strawberry Picking Printables

It’s that time of year: Pick your own Strawberries season is here!  Between all the delicious recipes, making our own jam, and just getting to snack on the best tasting produce ever, our family could not be more excited.

Being the teacher-mom that I am, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to turn our upcoming trip to the Strawberry Patch into a fun learning experience.

We’ve been reading Strawberry themed books (our favorites are “The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry and the Big Hungry Bear” by Don and Audrey Wood and “Strawberries for Chloe” by Angie Judson).

I’ve also started putting together some fun worksheets for us enrich our strawberry patch experience. We interviewed John Lyman of Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, and he filled us in on tons of insider tips to get the best strawberry experience. Keep your eyes peeled for our guide to pick your own to learn all about it!

In the meantime, enjoy these fun freebies with your kids:
