Introducing Girls for Technology (GFT) – a newly formed not-for-profit organization dedicated to the progress of STEM education for girls in Connecticut.
Meet them at their first Made with Code Girls Party this Saturday, July 11 at the Hartford Library Albany Branch for a FREE workshop. Girls only (yes!) will learn how they can explore any interest they have and augment it with technology by learning to write computer code. Computer science isn’t about “science” — do you like art, fashion, cooking, music? We do! 🙂
Made with Code Girls Parties will be held every Saturday afternoon for the next four (4) weekends into August – no experience needed! Reservation requested since space is limited online or call 860.501.0000.
For Tech Girls in CT a broad range of programs are offered by GFT to fully pursue the opportunities offered by the STEM industries. Programs built around hands-on activities that are interactive, informative, and fun include Computer Animation, Digital Photography, Fashionista with E-Textiles, APP Developer, Girls Robotics Team, as well as Digital Citizenship and Leadership training.
