We’ve gathered fun, educational, and sometimes frivolous April Vacation Activities CT for you! Explore museums, parks, arts & crafts for kids alone or together as a family.

Camps:

When School’s Out, Camp Is In at  Channel 3 Kids Camp offering a full day program, all 5 days.

Vacation Exploration Camp is almost sold out at Connecticut Science Center so hurry to register!

Day Programs:

Make sure to plan at least one day at the New England Museum in Windsor Locks where your “imagination can soar!”  Each day a hands-on activity is offered with museum admission plus their Flight Simulator will be available every day. Read the April Break Fun daily schedule to find the one that fits your interest.

The Connecticut River Museum also hosts fun and educational programs each day, so discover one that fits your schedule:  April Vacation Workshops for Kids

Other destinations with special programs may be:  Eco Splash at the Mystic Aquarium April 15-22 to celebrate Earth Week with spectacular sculptures by Sandtasia made out of tons of sand.

April Vacation Activities CT can also include Fishing in CT or Knitting for Charity just to make a couple of suggestions 🙂
