Hour of Code

This was always one of my FAVORITE weeks as a teacher- and it’s also one of my favorite as a parent!

Computer Science is a foundational skill for all (and it’s going to be a requirement for K-12 schools in CT!)- which means that it needs to be accessible for all! CS helps kids develop problem solving, creativity, and empathy. It’s also a major asset in preparing them for the future.

We’re working on a round up of Hour of Code 2023 activities for kids of all ages- both online and in person! Best of all? They’re all FREE!

Online Activities

Hour of Code, in Partnership with Code.org, offers hundreds of ways for families and classes to learn to Code.

Best of all, Hour of Code has an awesome search tool for you to narrow it down by age, interest, etc.
