Thanksgiving is a Holiday for Everyone |
Here we feature Give to Others Fundraising in November projects by local heroes around Connecticut. Our favorite ones are led by youth or for youth! You can help others in your own region many ways that your schedule allows this month – use your time and talents to join a team initiative or start your own.
Start with Connecticut Foodshare’s annual Turkey and Thirty fundraiser – you can help provide a traditional Thanksgiving meal for thousands of our Greater Hartford friends and neighbors, while building lasting solutions to hunger all year long.
Join Turkey Wars and watch your generosity expand as you compete among friends to do the most good this holiday season! Visit ATurkeyand30.org to learn more, or to donate online. You can also call 860-856-HELP (4357) to donate by phone. See if your employer will match your gift. Double your donation >

The students go to family and friends to sell them everywhere as well as one can buy loaves for people in need and KHK will deliver them to local families in need at shelters. All proceeds of the Thanksgiving Bread Bake directly fund KHK youth-led projects that help other kids in need. Planning meetings on Sunday at 7 p.m. – Sign Up to get involved.
