One of our favorite times of year because we get to pick your own fruits and vegetables! Fruit Picking in CT is an enjoyable, healthy and tasty activity for friends and families to do together. It’s the season for Pick Your Own Connecticut peaches, apples, pears and plums! And flowers.
June through mid July is the best time for blueberries – we found this county map online plus state’s crop availability calendar for more specific dates of upcoming crops. We head to 4H Auer Farm in Bloomfield – a peaceful, small farm environment with an educational barn of animals.
- Strawberries, Blueberries and Raspberries all in one place at Rose’s Berry Farms in South Glastonbury or Dondero Farms close by.
- A reliable farm with a huge variety of fruit and vegetables is Easy Pickin’s Orchard in Enfield.
- Jones Family Farms recommends reservations.
- Pickin’ Patch in Avon is not offering pick-your-own at this time.
