Technovation Challenge 2019 in Connecticut

Technovation Challenge 2019 in Connecticut right here at the Science Center in Hartford for girls ages 10-18 to participate in the world’s largest free coding and tech entrepreneurship program, Technovation. Participants will create an app that works to solve an issue in their community.  Learn the basics of coding with App Inventor and brainstorm problems in your community. You’ll also have the chance to start prototyping your mobile app solutions.
All girls and mentors who are new to App Inventor and Technovation or just want a refresher for the season are welcome to come. Our launch event will be this Saturday, January 26 10AM-2PM. Participating in these workshops is a great way for students to meet additional teammates and for mentors to pair up with teams.
Lunch will be provided and it is free to join for the day!
If possible, participants should bring:

• Laptop
• Android device
• Signed waiver
