Sleepover Camp Timber Trails

July 29, 2017 @ 9:00 am - August 4, 2017 @ 4:00 pm

4475 – 41145

Tucked away in the beautiful hills of the Berkshire Mountains just over the Connecticut border, Sleepover Camp Timber Trails offers girls a safe environment to build leadership skills, outdoor skills, and build relationships with other girls. At Camp Timber Trails, girls can take swimming lessons and boat in its picturesque lake, take a ropes course, and learn outdoor living skills.
Girls in grades ten through twelve can participate in a number of leadership and training programs. These programs include leadership training, basic camp management, child development, program design, and being role models. Girls in grades eleven through twelve can also take the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training course as well as learn horse handling skills and barn management.
Open Houses for Sleepover Camp Timber Trails is Sunday, April 30 and Sunday May 21, from 3:00–5:00 p.m. Bring your whole family to tour the camp, do a fun camp activity or two, ask questions, and register on the spot. It will be a little sneak peek to summer!
While some people still think of Girl Scouts as just cookies, campfires, and friendship bracelets, Girl Scouts in Connecticut are so much more. Girl Scouts are big thinkers, groundbreakers, and role models. Girl Scouts design robots, earn badges, learn financial literacy skills, and improve their communities through take action projects—and they sell the best cookies on the planet! When she’s a Girl Scout, she’s also a G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™.
We are Girl Scouts of Connecticut. We’re more than 47,000 members strong – girls and adults – who believe that every girl can change the world.
We’re part of a sisterhood of 2.7 million around the globe. It all began more than 100 years ago with one woman, Juliette Gordon Low, who believed in the power of one girl. We continue her vision of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. At Girl Scouts, we believe that there’s a chance for every girl to do something amazing.
