Science Workshop

The popular at-home STEM in a Box program is now available in-person at the Connecticut Science Center as a LIVE hands-on Science Workshop experience. You and your family members will join our STEM education team for a 90-minute hands-on activity workshop complete with enhanced projects and materials. After the Workshop, you will take home your creation and all extra materials so you can continue experimenting on your own. 90 minute program best for ages 7-12.
Plus, you and your family will get to enjoy the remainder of the day having fun exploring more than 165 exhibits here in the Science Center.
APRIL 23 & 24 WORKSHOP: DNA Discovery
In celebration of DNA Days, we are going to put you into the shoes of a Geneticist to help the Science Center team analyze genes from actual DNA. When finished, you’ll be leaving with real science equipment to conduct your own strawberry DNA extraction and continue the exploration at home.
