It’s that time of year again when Santa Claus is comes to town. Celebrate the holiday season at Santa’s Village at the Carousel in Roger Williams Park at this year’s Winter Festival.
Afternoon hours are noon – 3:00 pm for kids and families and feature a visit with Santa, ice carving demonstrations, holiday treats and an opportunity to hop aboard the Carousel Express train or ride the historic Carousel.
During the evening, 4:00 – 8:00 pm, join with friends and family take a horse drawn hayride through the park, visit Santa, see a dazzling holiday light display, enjoy a variety of food carts, sip some hot cocoa and get into the festive mood on the historic Carousel! All ages welcome.
Please note: *There is no cost to attend the Winter Festival, however there are minimal fees for activities: $5 for the horse drawn hayride in the Park; $5 for a visit with Santa; $3 for the Train Ride, and $2 for a ride on the historic Carousel. Parking is free in the Roger Williams Park Zoo parking lots, and the RIPTA trolley is available throughout the event from noon to 8:00 pm to offer free rides to the Carousel, Botanical Center and Museum of Natural History for other festive happenings.
Before or after your visit with Santa, remember the Roger Williams Park Zoo will be open from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
