Suzy Whaley Golf Parent Child Golf Tournament is a way to enjoy a day on the course with your child in a fun and stress-free scramble format! Play with old friends or make new ones on the course. Different tees for different age groups. Prizes and dinner at Tunxis Plantation in Farmington, Connecticut after the round.
Children ages 5-17 play 9 Hole Scramble Format with a parent. One parent may team up with two children to form two different teams for the event. Siblings of appropriate ages may play as partners.

Recognized as a Top 50 golf instructor by Golf Digest, Whaley started at TPC River Highlands in 2005 and is now the Director of Instruction of Suzy Whaley Golf. From 2004-2006, she worked as an LPGA Golf Commentator for ESPN. Whaley was also PGA Head Golf Professional at Blue Fox Run Golf Course from 2002-2004; and a PGA Teaching Professional at Tumble Brook Country Club from 1998-2001, and for Nicklaus Flick Golf Schools from 1995-2001.Whaley was elected PGA Secretary at the PGA Annual Meeting in Indianapolis on Nov. 22, 2014, becoming the first woman to ever be elected as an Officer of the Association.
