In partnership with The Hartford (creators of the Junior Fire Marshal program), the Science Center has developed a LIVE Science Junior Fire Marshal Training Center held Thursday through Sunday, twice daily: 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
This fun, STEM Educator facilitated activity blends hands-on science learning with safety education. Visitors will learn fire prevention and how to stay safe in case one starts. Using replicas to represent common household areas, Science Center STEM Educators guide visitors through realistic smoke effects and hazardous scenarios as they learn fire safety and the science of fire. Included with General Admission or Membership.
*This program will not operate on Sensory Friendly days due to the sudden sounds, flashing lights, and smoke effects.
