In 2018 we’re moving to Wednesday nights while the First Robotics team is building.
This month we will focus on KNITTING. Whether you would like to learn, or are having trouble with a pattern, or just want to socialize and work on something in progress, you’re welcome to participate. If you want to learn the basics, please bring yarn and a hook – generally size 7-10 (4-7mm) needles are most comfortable, and the yarn should be smooth and lighter colour. We have some supplies available for freewill donations.
Not into knitting? That’s OK – each month we’ll sample something new, but feel free to bring any project you like and enjoy the camaraderie. Bring your crocheting, spinning, weaving, knotting, sewing, embroidery, braiding, kumihimo – whatever you are doing with (or to create) string! You’re also welcome to peruse the donated supplies and library – if you want to take something home, we ask for a donation. Feel free to bring friends and tell others about our meetings, they are open to all.
