Groundhog Day

The Lutz Children’s Museum is proud to be the home of the official Connecticut state groundhog. Crowds of dedicated fans gather at the museum each year on Groundhog Day to hear her prediction.
The museum will open to the public at 6:00 AM on Groundhog Day. Coffee and breakfast foods will be served while we await her arrival. Admission to the event is FREE and open to the public. The museum will close at 9:00 AM and re-open for normal business at 12:00 PM on Sunday.
