The Ridgefield Playhouse brings Cirque-tacular’s Snowcus Pocus Unique Live Holiday Show to the stage this holiday season!  Journey to a winter wonderland on Saturday, December 9 at 4:00 a.m and 7:00 p.m. Sponsored by Comfort King Energy Services, this Ridgefield Academy Family Series performance, which is also partially underwritten by South Salem Animal Hospital/Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital & Books on the Common, will fill you with the warm glow of winter as you watch in wonder this amazing aerial acrobatic snow ballet…..think Cirque meets The Nutcracker!  The story of young Brianna, who is whisked away to an enchanted winter wonderland, is told through dazzling cirque, breathtaking ballet, and incredible acrobatics that will amaze, inspire and enchant your imagination. This snow show for all ages will melt your heart!
Through dance, acrobatics, suspended spectacle and more, in Cirque-tacular’s Snowcus Pocus you’ll meet wintry characters such as the mischievous Jack Frost, the elegant Snow Queen, formidable North Wind and shapeshifter Azura, as they show Brianna the many moods of the winter season. It’s all set to an energetic score filled with passages that range from fun and jazzy to dramatic and delicate, depending on the current action on stage.
