I took 2 of my girls for a daytrip to New York for Trolls The Experience. This is what we thought, says mom Hope Peckham of Beacon Falls:
We arrived just in time for our timed tickets at 4PM on Saturday afternoon checked our coats and got right in line to start out adventure. You could see the excitement all around you as you walked in the kids were so anxious to get inside!! Our party planner met us after a short 5 minute wait to tell us about the upcoming fun waiting for us inside. We rode up the most colorful escalator lined with trolls to the Hair We Go VIP area (this is an extra add-on). Aerilyn and Arden got the superstar treatment of picking out their troll wig and got face paint to match!! Now they were ready to go to each stop on Poppy’s Best Day Ever “scavenger hunt” (at each stop the party planners gave you a prize to use later) The girls were able to make music with Branch on our next stop and interact with the creatures to make different sounds. Next up jump on the Caterbus to collect gems for Poppy’s party!! Now it was time to play tag with the interactive wall. Here the kids touched to screen to try and invite as many friends to Poppy’s Best Day Ever Celebration. Up next we all got our 3D glasses and were ready to dance with Poppy, Branch and friends at Poppy’s Best Day ever celebration!! The characters really seem to jump out at you and EVERYONE was having a great time including adults!! After the dance party was over we headed down to the scrapbooking area where you get to take a family photo and then go over to a station with it and your bag that you get at the beginning with all of your prizes (stickers to complete the scrapbook). At the very end of our hour long journey the girls got to meet Poppy and take a picture with her. Of course before you leave don’t forget to check out the cupcakes & rainbows retail shop & café for all of your Troll needs!!! Overall it was a fun experience. I do suggest planning your trip out as best you can. The tickets are timed so that they can have as many people experience it as possible. If you don’t like crowds I wouldn’t suggest going on the weekend as it was VERY busy.
