Middle Grade Book Talk Monday at Avon Free Public Library

Want to share what you’re reading? Want to hear about some good books from the librarians and other kids?
Sign up below share about what you’re reading (or have read before) and hear what books other kids are reading. Miss Marisa, the Teen Librarian and Miss Danielle, the Children’s Specialist, will book talk some of our favorite books available via Hoopla and Overdrive too!
What will we do?
Each child will have 2-3 minutes to share about a book they are reading or have recently read. It can be any type of kid’s book type: realistic, fantasy, science fiction, historical fiction, nonfiction, graphic novel book for kids!
When will this happen?
Monday May 18th, 3:30-4:15 PM (we might go a little over time IF a lot of kids want to talk about their great reads!)
How do I sign up?
Register with an email address someone regularly checks (no school email addresses, ex. @avon.k12.ct.us emails) and you will receive an email with a code to join the Google Meet event the morning of the Monday 5/19 program.
