Presidents Weekend Kids Art Workshops

This Presidents Weekend Kids Art Workshops are offered at Guilford Art Center called “Paint Like the Masters,” for kids ages 6-9 years old on Monday, February 20 from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Learn about the lives of famous artists and explore their painting and collage techniques.  Use canvas, acrylic paints and a variety of textural papers.  Emphasis is on experimentation and fun! Please bring a snack.
Tuition $30; Members $27 plus $5 fee payable with tuition.

The school annually serves over 2,000 students, from preschool-aged through senior citizens, in four semesters of approximately 350 classes, including ceramics, jewelry, metalsmithing, weaving, glass, drawing and painting, blacksmithing and stone carving. Tuition assistance is available to help insure that the Center’s programs are accessible for community members of all means.
