Sensory Play & Loose Parts Investigation at the East Hartford Public Library

Children and families are invited to drop in on Monday afternoons in the Children’s Department at the sensory table! Each week, our sensory table will be filled with different “loose parts” to discover, build, and play with. Through the use of materials that can be sorted, combined, re-designed, taken apart, and put back together in multiple ways, “Loose Parts” play offers open-ended play that supports invention, problem-solving, and creative thinking. This program is best suited for children ages 3 – 8. No registration required.
