Free Art Museum Day for CT Families

Every month the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford hosts a Free Museum Day for CT Families called “Second Saturdays for Families.”

In November, the program is titled “Fall Reflections.”

As autumn ends, take a moment to reflect on what you are thankful for and observe how artwork can connect us to places, ideas, and each other. Learn about Mohegan culture and history through storytelling and tribal artifacts in a presentation by specialists from the Tantaquidgeon Museum. Create a thank you card for a special person in your life and your own artwork inspired by the fall season. In collaboration with the Tantaquidgeon Museum.

Museum admission is free all day on Second Saturdays
