CT STEM Academy is pleased to support Eagle Scout candidate, David Darrow, and offer a Free Family Rocketry Program Saturday mornings for interested families. Each family will create paper rockets, make one model rocket to launch on the final day of the program and learn about STEM rocketry concepts.
This program is appropriate for children in grades 2 – 7 accompanied by an adult. A family is considered one child and one adult. For registration, please click here Free Rocketry Program or copy and paste this link into your web browser: https://goo.gl/forms/VMHkoPmeVS4G7gOz1
In exchange for this free program, we are asking that all families consider donating the following recycled items to our program. These items will help us bring STEM to children all over CT.
2 liter soda bottles, water bottles, plastic shopping bags, toilet paper tubes, paper towel tubes
We will also accept donations such as all types of tape, toothpicks, straws, 9 volt batteries, popsicle sticks, tack glue, wint-o-green mints, and styrofoam plates.
CT STEM Academy provides education in Connecticut for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics all year ’round.

This innovative enrichment program is designed for students interested in deepening their knowledge of STEM concepts. Our programs place a special emphasis on gender equity, cultural diversity and direct family involvement.
