Aside from private ponds where can families skate outdoors together these days? Foxwoods Rink and Winter Patio is a destination for parents and kids together this season – skate seven days a week on an outdoor rink and enjoy hot chocolate while relaxing by one of the outdoor fire pits. Trees surrounding the rink are decorated with more than 100,000 lights. The rates are reasonable and skate rentals are available. There’s even a discount for Foxwoods Card Holders ($8 Skate Fee which includes skate rental) and Free Tuesdays (skate rental applies). Tickets cannot be purchased in advance.
