Vision Quest: Make Your Dream Board Into a Work of Art (FREE Online Workshop for Teens)

Art Curator and Interior designer Claudine Maidique will lead a class on how to compose a vision board using magazines and discarded books as a form of recycling and art medium. Likewise, choosing the images that are carefully selected allows the student to think about what he/she would like to attract into their lives, whether it is a trip, a career, or a peaceful retreat. Also known as an “inspiration board”, artists and dreamers have used this process to manifest their inner desires and have a reminder in their workspace to continue to tap into that personal inner quest. Claudine helps guide the student to access and recognize what images call to them personally and help create an integrated and beautiful piece of artwork.  GRADES 9-12
Requirements: This workshop will be held online using Google Meet. Please make sure that you have downloaded the software. Participants will be sent a link to the workshop.  This workshop is funded by the Westport Public Schools’ Innovation Fund.
