New Haven Symphony Orchestra Family Concert Series – FREE!
The Saturday performances will be at the Davis Street School in New Haven and the Sunday performance will be at Shelton Intermediate School.
This lively and interactive chamber concert is perfect for introducing your 3 – 9 year old to the instruments of the orchestra. Children can participate in an instrument petting zoo and get a complimentary book from New Haven Reads.
Join the NHSO String Quintet and learn about melodies! We’ll explore some famous ones to see what makes a good melody. The concert ends with a classic fairy tale, Three Billy Goats Gruff. It will be narrated and hosted by local voiceover artist, Don Amodio.
