Bring your family and friends to see the stars, planets, the moon and more for Stargazing – it’s fun for the whole family! Celebrate Global Astronomy Month by joining us for a fun night on Talcott Mountain to learn about the night sky, the Lyrid Meteor shower and the wonders of the Universe!
Your Skygazing adventure begins under the stars as you take a seat in the Captain Alan Bean Planetarium. You’ll tour the night sky with Talcott Astronomer Hannah Marye and learn about the constellations, how and when you can get the best views of the Lyrid Meteor Shower, and more!
After our planetarium program is complete, we’ll take a short walk up to the ridge atop Talcott Mountain for viewing. With a variety of telescopes at our disposal, you’ll view the stars, planets and more!
Don’t miss this out-of-this-world view of the night sky and the Farmington Valley!
