Nutcracker Bootcamps

Nutcracker Bootcamps are part of the 2018 Summer Session at New England Ballet Company’s Academy to get you ready for auditions in late August! Our annual production of this holiday favorite is very special in Connecticut held at The Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport . . . it includes a Sugar Plum Party and “Nutcracker Our Way” classes that incorporate performers with special needs from the Bridgeport Public Schools Arts programming for a beautiful adaptation of Nutcracker Suite. Children and teens with autism, Down syndrome, and other developmental differences dance with typically-developing peers and professional ballerinas.
Children of all ages can experience the joy and excitement of performing while improving social skills, pushing their physical boundaries, making friends and gaining self-confidence.
Sessions for every age group through August!

Ages 3 – 5:  6/23 – 6/29 & 8/6 – 8/10 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Ages 6 – 9: 7/9 – 7/20  9 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Ages 10 – 12: 7/23 – 8/2  9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Taught by Principal Dancers Taylor Millbauer and Sarah Sugrue.
The Academy of New England Ballet Company offers a full range of dance instruction starting at age 3 to adult, including courses in all levels of ballet, pointe, Pas de Deux, tap & jazz.
