Participate in a community art project and celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and learn how art can catalyze social justice!  Join Wadsworth Atheneum’s annual Free Martin Luther King Jr. Community Day this year:

• Artist Katiana Jarbath Smith in a puzzle art-making activity and see what can happen when we work collectively

• The Public Art for Racial Justice Education team on a portable mural highlighting national leaders of the civil rights movement

•Muralists from RiseUp for Arts and add your mark to Piecing It Back Together.
