Free Family Fun Day & Treat or Treat

The Shubert’s annual Open House and Free Family Fun Day & Treat or Treat has become a tradition for many families in New Haven.  There’s fun for all ages!  Enjoy family-friendly activities including arts & crafts projects, temporary tattoos, Halloween film shorts, snacks & refreshments. Children under 12 are welcome to wear Halloween costumes for trick or treating in the Shubert lobby (please, no masks or prop weapons).
And there’s more fun in store – following the event at the Shubert, patrons can enjoy Trick or Treat at The Shops at Yale in the Chapel Street Historic District and in the Broadway Shopping District from 1:00 p.m. –4:00 p.m. Make sure to stop by The Shops at Yale table at the Shubert Theatre before 3:00 p.m. to receive your special bag and map of participating stores so you can continue Trick or Treating!
