Free Fall Foliage StoryWalk® and Craft Event

Join Essex Library and Essex Land Trust for a guided Free Fall Foliage StoryWalk® and Craft Event for children and families at Cross Lots!
Participants will enjoy a guided walk-through Cross Lots and learn why leaves change colors in the fall, while reading the book Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert. After the StoryWalk®, families will be invited to meet back at the Essex Library to create leaf animals and other leaf creations inspired by the artwork in the story.
Weather permitting; a self-guided version of the StoryWalk® will remain at Cross Lots through Monday October 23.
Essex Library events are free and open to the public.
