Family Program: Transportation Trailblazers

January 4 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Free

Did you know the first American submarine was invented in Connecticut? What about the first practical helicopter? Join us at the museum to learn more about these transportation innovations! Families will make a toy submarine, fly paper airplanes and helicopters, and pose in a hot air balloon-inspired photo booth while exploring the history of transportation in Connecticut.

This program is FREE and great for children of all ages. Drop in; no pre-registration required! For more information, please contact Katerina Mazzacane, Youth and Family Programs Manager, at 860-236-5621 x222, or email kmazzacane@connectcutmuseum.org.

This program falls on Free First Weekend, which includes free admission to the Museum for all ages. Thanks to Berkshire Bank for their generous support of Free First Weekend.
