Art Explorers at Essex Library: Sol Lewitt

For this session, we’ll look at Connecticut-born artist Sol Lewitt, whose art explores the near infinite
possibilities of color and line. Children will learn facts about Mr. Lewitt, and have the opportunity to
create their own work inspired by Mr. Lewitt’s Color Bands pieces

Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act,
administered by the Connecticut State Library.
