Auditions for Aladdin Jr

Hello performers? Arts in CT welcomes you to audition for our production of Aladdin! We’re looking for young actors, singers, and dancers to bring this classic tale to life on our stage at the Westville Performing Arts Center.

In this musical, we follow the adventures of Aladdin, a street urchin who falls in love with Princess Jasmine and discovers a magical lamp that contains a genie who can grant wishes. Along the way, Aladdin must outsmart the evil Jafar and win the heart of the princess.

For this audition, we’re looking for children aged 6-16 who are passionate about performing and have a strong interest in musical theater. We welcome actors of all backgrounds and experience levels to come and showcase their talents.

Please prepare a one-minute monologue and a 16-32 bar cut of a song from a musical. You may also be asked to learn and perform a short dance combination, so please come dressed in comfortable clothes and shoes.

We encourage you to bring a headshot if you have it, but they are not required. We’re looking for enthusiastic and talented young performers who are eager to bring their own unique interpretation to the characters of Aladdin, Jasmine, Jafar, and the Genie.
