Relay For Life Connecticut Fights Cancer for Local Residents of All Ages t event planning is in full swing throughout the nation.  Thursday April 28 is “Million Dollar Day” — American Cancer Society’s Internet Challenge to raise $1 for each person in the United States who is expected to hear “You have cancer.

In 2017, more than 1.6 million people in the US are expected to hear the words “you have cancer.” One of those individuals could be someone you know; someone you care about. But you already know that. That’s why you have signed up to make a difference in the fight to end cancer by participating in your local Relay For Life event, isn’t it?

As a show of support for those who will be diagnosed with cancer this year alone, we are challenging our passionate Relay For Life advocates to venture into uncharted territory and be a part of an effort that has never been done in the history of the Relay movement.

Let’s unite and take a stand against cancer by raising $1.6 million online in ONE DAY. Every dollar raised symbolizes those who may be touched by the disease this year. However, when we come together collectively, three million Relay participants strong, by fundraising for the American Cancer Society, we are able to support those who need us today and fight for a world free from the pain and suffering of cancer in the future.

Join us — let cancer know what we think about it.  Please donate $1 TODAY to a kid who has a Relay For Life 2017 team! OR to our team: http://main.acsevents.org/goto/margaretfishman
