Kids can help give back to the local community! The Norwalk Historical Society and the Love All Project will be hosting, “Kids Care: MLK Jr. Service Day Project”. This free family-friendly Service Day Project supports the non-profit organization, Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants and takes place on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at the Norwalk Historical Society Museum. Build a joystick to survey how sharks swim Use the very latest technology to survey sharks at this month’s free STEM Saturday workshop. Participants build a sensorized joystick using cardboard and copper tape and use it to view 3-D rotations of digital shark models. Using a microcontroller, participants will connect the joystick to Excel so they can gather real-time data on the shark’s movement while driving it through a virtual marine environment.
