Narrated by Artistic Director Brett Raphael and patterned after Leonard Bernstein’s famous New York Philharmonic Young People’s Concerts in the 1960s\, the performance will focus on the unique life of a professional ballet dancer and sample some of the great story ballets. \nCompany soloists will showcase famous ballets which they love and explain the challenges of becoming a different character in each ballet. Audiences will see segments from Swan Lake\, The Sleeping Beauty\, Giselle\, Adventures of Tom Sawyer\, and finish with a company favorite\, Goose Pimples\, to New Orleans-style jazz by Bix Beiderbecke. Mr. Raphael and his dancers will take questions from the audience followed by a meet-and-greet opportunity in the theater lobby. \nThe 75-minute program is suitable for children ages 4-14. Enrollment is very limited\, sign up early.  Groups will be divided by age (4 – 6 years old\, 7 – 9 years old\, 10 – 13 years old). \nSession Dates (4) 2–week sessions: \n\nJune 22 through July 3\nJuly 6 through July 17\nJuly 20 through July 31\nAug. 3 through Aug. 14\n\nAdventure Camp – ages 4 – 6\nThey will explore what makes Powder Ridge unique: the geography\, geology\, flora\, and fauna\, as well as all of our great activities\, including an introduction to riding bikes! \nMt. Bike Adventure Camp – ages 7 – 13\n\n\nTurn summer into an active\, confidence-building adventure packed with FUN! Powder Ridge Adventure Sports Camp is the place to be. \n\n\nCampers will explore the mountain and everything it has to offer\, with a strong focus on mountain biking. Whether your child is riding for the first time or already an avid trail rider hitting jumps and gaps\, they’ll gain the skills and confidence to keep riding for a lifetime. \n\n\nOur coaching staff brings decades of combined mountain biking experience. They’re passionate about the sport and excited to share their knowledge in a supportive\, encouraging environment. \n\n\nCampers are guided through the skills they need to reach their individual riding goals. Most of each day is spent learning techniques and riding trails or flat terrain\, with focused skill sessions tailored to each camper’s ability level. \n\n\nBeyond biking\, campers will experience all the other adventures at Powder Ridge. They’ll cool off on the giant hillside water slide\, soar on the zip lines\, sharpen their aim in disc golf\, and learn strategy on the paintball fields. \n\n\nEach week also includes a field trip to Brownstone Adventure Sports Park.
