The Underwater Bubble Show Live on Stage in Connecticut on a national US tour stops in New London at the Garde Arts Center to entertain families throughout the region.
This is a story about each and everyone’s life. We all know life can be gray or colorful – this time it is going to be very colorful! After another long day full of meetings and deadlines, Mr. B finds himself transported to a magical world that’s inhabited by seahorses, dragon fish, starfish, mermaids, clown fish and more. They carry Mr. B along his imaginary journey in this beautiful underwater world where fantasy becomes reality and you are invited to follow him.
Taking cues from Cirque du Soleil, the visually spectacular show incorporates the latest in stage technology combining dancers, acrobats, lasers,  snow cannons, soap bubble tornadoes, theatrical fog, gigantic smoke rings, smoke-filled soap bubble machines, optical illusions and many other surprises.  Lasers, low ground smoke and flying foam simulate waves and the underwater atmosphere. A juggler in a huge plastic ball is the performer that immediately attracts Mr. B and the audience into Bubblelandia‘s wondrous world, while dancers and acrobats serve as “small colorful fish chasing Mr. B and each other inside the aquarium.  The main character is played by a skillful actor/mime exaggerating his gradual transformation from stressed out modernity to blissed out wonder, transporting the audience into this parallel universe of joy and freedom.
Creators Enrico Pezzoli and bubble artist/spouse, Dace Pecoli,  have toured the world as a duo act for nearly twenty years working with the form, including a performance at the Sochi Olympics.
