Maple Sugar Festival Weekend presented by First County Bank
February 27 @ 11:00 am - March 13 @ 3:00 pm
Celebrate the sweetness of the maple sugaring season as this annual family favorite returns to the SM&NC. Presented by First County Bank, our Maple Sugar Festival takes place on Saturday, February 27 from 11am-3pm each day. Visit the little red sugarhouse on Heckscher Farm and see how sap is turned into maple syrup. Learn how trees are tapped, see how sap is collected, make a maple-themed craft, have your face painted, enjoy live music, and visit our Museum Galleries to view our spring exhibition “Birds in Art.”
On Saturday from 11:30am-1:30pm, watch teen chefs create delicious dishes using SM&NC maple syrup and vote for your favorite in the First County Bank Teen Chefs Challenge.
On Sunday, enjoy the popular pancake brunch* from 11 am to 2 pm. Don’t forget to purchase a pint of fresh maple syrup, made from the trees at the SM&NC!
