FREE Kids’ Community Workshop: Art to the Rescue!
Saturday, April 1
Instructors: Marcy LaBella and Claudia Mathison
Spend the morning working in the GAC studios and make an art project to benefit our furry, four-legged friends. Participants will hand sew, braid and decorate chew toys and accessories for animals, to be donated to local shelters. Come discover the power of giving back through art, while also expressing your creativity!
Space is limited. Register online at www.guilforartcenter.org or call 203-453-5947.
“We are so fortunate that the Guilford Foundation is supporting the Center in honor of our anniversary year, by allowing us to provide arts opportunities free of charge to our community members,” says GAC Executive Director Maureen Belden. “We hope that these workshops will spark participants’ creativity and connect them with the Center and all of our programming.”
