Children’s High Tech-High Touch Interactive Show “Colors” takes young audiences will be taken on an exhilarating interactive journey into the world of colors when choreographer Catherine Galasso and Compagnia TPO bring their multi-media presentation of Colors to the stage at UConn’s Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts for two performances on Saturday afternoon, March 16.
The production, which combines elements of theater, music, dancing, and “High Tech-High Touch” interactive visual effects, tells the story of three kids who, in a shared dream, bring everything around them to life through color and transform their universe into a living, breathing painting. In the second half of the presentation, children from the audience will be invited to come onstage in groups to play, dance, move around, and personally experience the joy of creating their own colors and colorful images with the assistance of Compagnia TPO’s interactive technology.
Doors will open for the first performance at 1:30 pm. The first show begins at 2 pm. Doors for the second performance will open at 3:30 pm. The second show begins at 4pm.
