Did you know that Read Across America Day is celebrated on Dr. Seuss’s birthday? So Dr. Seuss Birthday Events for CT Families are a time to learn and play! The National Education Association or NEA Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on or around March 2, the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss. The Seussical celebration will kick off a week of reading across the nation as NEA members gather students, parents, and community members together to share their love of reading.
