Go shopping for Valentines locally made at The Creative Workshop in New Haven through February 14 for Shop for one-of-a-kind cards, books, boxes, pottery and small prints. Saturday, February 6 a free public event when you watch experts dazzle you with folding and cutting; from 2 – 5pm to sip tea. All ages welcome!

Go ice skating — kids are free at Veterans Memorial Skating Rink in West Hartford Sundays from 7-8:00 p.m through February 26.
Go to a public party MacChiliFest in Westport, a pre-Super Bowl tradition of unlimited samplings of more than 20 different chili and mac’n cheese entries where your vote determines the best. Get into the tailgate spirit and wear your favorite team jersey and enjoy the sounds of the Sacred Heart University band.
