At Noon Friday, December 31 Imagine Nation Museum, Bristol will drop loads of confetti at their Annual Celebrations Around the World Festival! You won’t want to miss it!
Celebrate on on the ice with hats, horns and a countdown to an early midnight 6:30-8:00 pm at at Veterans Memorial Skating Rink New Year’s Rockin Skate; DJ will take your requests. Regular admission and skate rental fees apply .

There are currently more than 70 First Night festivals annually presented in cities and towns nationwide dedicated to building community and celebrating diversity through the arts. An alcohol-free public celebration that marks the passage from the old year to the new with art, ritual and festivity.
Join First Night Hartford for a “New Beginning”! Enjoy live family style activities all inclusive with one admission: unique face painting, performing groups, musicians, artists, and exhibits. Event starts Thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. for you to explore the historic buildings of Hartford, celebrating with others in the community:
Families can hop from one place to another all day and evening: venues including Hartford Public Library, Hartford City Hall, The Old State House, State House Square, Wadsworth Atheneum, Center Church, South Church, Christ Cathedral Church, Charter Oak Cultural Center, The Bushnell Carousel participate in the fun!
Meet us at City Hall from 2:00-5:00 then walk down to Bushnell Park with us for the dazzling firework display @ 6! Second fireworks show at midnight.
